Communications

Hero

Hero is the central platform for all communications between the school and whānau.

It is where parents will find important updates, announcements, and learning materials. By using Hero, we ensure that all necessary information is easily accessible in one place, so you can stay informed and connected with the school community.

Hero is designed to streamline communication, making it easier for families to stay up to date with school activities and ensure your child’s education is supported both in and out of the classroom.

Staff

Our teachers are available to assist parents and students Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

We believe that strong communication between home and school is key to supporting your child’s success. One of the best ways to stay informed and engaged in your child’s education is by getting to know their classroom teacher. Teachers play an essential role in understanding each child’s individual needs, strengths, and challenges. By maintaining regular communication, you’ll be better equipped to support your child’s learning both at school and at home.

If any issues or questions arise throughout the school year, your child’s classroom teacher should be your first point of contact. They are the most familiar with your child’s day-to-day experience and are in the best position to address concerns related to academic progress, classroom behaviour, or other issues directly impacting your child.

If the classroom teacher is unable to resolve the issue, or if the matter requires further attention, the next point of contact is the syndicate leader

For concerns that cannot be resolved at the syndicate leader level, or if the issue involves broader school policies or needs, the leadership team is available to provide assistance.
