Friends of School

The MPS Friends of School are a very important part of the school. The FOS endeavours to support the teachers and school management in developing a strong motivated positive school community and helps to raise money for extras in the school that are not covered by Ministry of Education funding.

Our past fundraising efforts have paid off and we have managed to build a new sand pit, buy an assortment of sandpit toys, erect a storage shed, provide new stage curtains for the hall, new Jump Jam CD’s, build fences and a gate for the compost and worm farm area and purchase new sports uniforms.

We are continually looking for more fundraising opportunities to benefit our children and welcome support from whanau.
